A renovation at Eckert

In what was supposed to be a one-day project but got extended to almost three, volunteers from Weidner Apartments helped renovate the boy's residence at Eckert Youth Home in Williston.
Since 2019, Eckert Youth Home has served as a substance abuse treatment center for youth between the ages of 13 and 17. The boy's residence is located in the first home opened by the Fred and Clara Eckert Foundation in 1975. Since then, the building hasn't seen much in the form of renovation – and it showed.
